    I used a Household …
I used a Household Iron for years and it worked fine. The wax will easily melt out of the hole.

The thing to be careful of is the HH Iron getting to hot and ruining your base. The HH Iron will get much hotter at the hottest setting compared to a Snowboard Tuning Iron.

  • Filrox:

    If you have a …
If you have a sintered base than you will want to wax it when it is dry. It is also good to store your board waxed to increase the life of the plastic base material.

    When its dry.

If you get a extruded base you will not have to hardly any base maintenance, such as boards like the Burton Blunt.
